Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) Analyst
The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Centralized Operations team. The Operations Analyst provides technical and function support to account users. You will interact with accounting and other operations teams and development groups internally, as well as externally with clients and service providers. Working Hours: Monday
Friday 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. What You Will Do:
Resolve daily exceptions that arise from automated trade file processes; perform pricing functions for securities across portfolio positions; assist with security master setups and asset data maintenance; support with implementing new clients; research and process corporate actions and dividend income for IMS clients. As the record keeper for trade activity, you will be responsible for collecting and maintaining security pricing details in various formats from the vendors as well as broker quote. Additionally, you will implement the documentation of processes and procedures relating to individual client needs. Connect with appropriate internal teams or client teams to resolve open issues and questions, contact internal technology support and vendor support when needed to resolve any production issues or system support queries. Additionally, you will be responsible in participating in the testing of new releases/system enhancements. Attend and participate in various IMS and corporate professional development sessions to identify processes across the division and organization. BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. Internship experience preferred. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem solving skills a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus. Willingness to learn MS Access, VBA programming and database design concepts. The self-motivation, organization and aim to complete multiple client objectives in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls. Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with your clients and other internal and external service providers. What We Would Like From You:
