Coatings Specialist - 3rd Shift

High Steel Structures is one of the largest steel fabricators in North America. The company produces steel superstructures for bridges, including some of the most iconic structures in the nation. The company also supplies girders and weldments for construction and industrial applications. We are actively seeking experienced Coating Specialists to join our 3rd shift team. Schedule: Sun to Thurs 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. 3rd shift coworkers receive a 25% shift differential on top of their base pay! Coating Specialists/Painters are responsible for performing various tasks to prepare metal surfaces and apply standard finishes to machined parts. These finishes include but are not limited to paint and metalizing. Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications: A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments desired Ability to apply specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members Working for The High Companies: At High Steel Structures co-workers always come first.
