Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Marketing Department is seeking an experienced, dynamic Director of Enrollment Communication and Content Strategy. This key leadership role is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of all enrollment-related communications across the university's three campuses. The Director will oversee a team of content creators and strategists, guiding the voice and messaging used across a wide array of platformsincluding digital advertising, print publications, websites, landing pages, email campaigns, vendor-produced materials, video/audio scripts, and promotional content. This position is ideal for a creative, data-informed marketing professional with a deep understanding of audience segmentation, content marketing best practices, and cross-platform communication strategies. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a high-performing team responsible for crafting and deploying content across all stages of the prospective student journey.
Develop and execute a comprehensive, globally focused communication and content marketing strategy aligned with university enrollment goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with university leadership including the Executive Director of Marketing, the Senior Vice President of Enrollment Management, and Enrollment Deans across all campuses.
Ensure quality and consistency of all written and multimedia content to reflect the university's brand and voice.
Analyze performance using data insights to evaluate content effectiveness, optimize campaigns, and demonstrate return on investment.
Stay ahead of trends in content marketing, enrollment communication, and higher education outreach to continuously improve engagement with diverse audiences including high school students, adult learners, parents, and counselors.
Support university-wide initiatives such as SIT 2 and the Enrollment Management Strategic Plan, and contribute to committees spanning all three campuses.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required; master's preferred. Minimum of 35 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or content strategy. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet-based applications; strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Demonstrated experience in communication strategy, email marketing, and content development for print and digital media. Excellent writing and editing skills, including knowledge of AP Style, grammar, and report preparation. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities independently. Creative thinker with a track record of developing innovative, audience-targeted communication strategies. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills; detail-oriented and deadline-driven. Self-motivated, professional, and unflappable under pressure; maintains a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
