Manufacturing Engineer
Plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures | Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design | Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements Manages professional employees and/or supervisors | Must have at least one professional expert or one supervisor as a direct report | Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own area of specialty | Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges | Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from manager | Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers | Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment Manages the development and implementation of industrial manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency. | Ensures the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively. | Responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process. | Implements effective manufacturing engineering methods and provides technical guidance and acts as a resource for manufacturing engineers.?? | Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes. | Manages the evaluation of products based on specifications and quality standards. | Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership. Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience | Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Bachelor's Degree | Leadership skills. 5S methodology. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
