Medtronic is seeking a Hybrid Clinical Territory Manager (CTM) / Territory Manager (TM) to support both clinical education and sales growth within Hawaii. This unique role blends the responsibilities of a CTMfocused on patient and HCP training and supportwith those of a TM, driving territory sales and business development. The position reports to the Clinical District Manager. This is a field-based position that will support Hawaii with an expectation to be in the field 5 days/week. Ideal candidates will reside in or near Honolulu. Preference will be given to local candidates. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. Educates patients, physicians, nurses, educators, and other health care professionals (HCPs) regarding the importance of intensive management of patients with diabetes using Medtronic Diabetes products Troubleshoots clinical and technical issues regarding Medtronic products and therapy Assists HCPs in assessing and managing patient's Medtronic therapy to help ensure positive outcomes Plans, organizes, and manages assignments within allotted budget Travels in assigned territory on a regular basis and attends seminars, symposiums, and special events as directed Collaborates with other Medtronic Diabetes departments to ensure optimal patient experience Participates in ongoing competency development through an array of medium including in-person and web-based training Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service Medtronic Diabetes products and services to existing and potential physicians and patients. Implement quarterly sales plans to achieve sales goals and objectives. Manage territory fiscally by controlling expenses, product returns, and inventory. Build and maintain relationships with referral sources to establish a solid business base. Complete administrative reporting as required. Utilize approved sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs. Promote and sell Medtronic's Diabetes products and services within an assigned geographic area or customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and non-clinical buyers. Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits of Medtronic's Diabetes products and services. Conduct market research on customers and competitors. Implement market development plans and strategies, making changes as needed. Communicate customer feedback on new products or modifications to internal stakeholders like R&D, Operations, and Marketing. Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume. A valid registered license in one or more of the following fields: Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) Registered Nurse (RN) Registered Dietitian (RD) Physician Assistant (PA) Nurse Practitioner (NP) Pharmacist AND Associate's Degree and 4 years of clinical experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of clinical experience Nice to Have Bachelor's degree Prior sales experience strongly preferred Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Diabetes Business: The Medtronic Diabetes Business is one of the most exciting, dynamic, and challenging spaces in the medical device industry. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $95,000 - $95,000 The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
