The Technical Architect-Salesforce is responsible for the design and build of the technical architecture of the Salesforce platform. This role level will require a structured analysis of technical issues, translating this analysis into technical designs and development specifications. The Technical Architect-Salesforce oversees development within the platform, whether custom code, vendor package integration, or data integration. The Technical Architect-Salesforce will assist in all phases of the development process, including design, integration, and maintenance, while observing proper behaviors, patterns, and standards. This position will ensure that Stifel's coding practices are used in all development projects. What We're Looking For
Responsibilities include: Developing in Apex, Lightning Components, LWC, Lightning Aura, Visualforce, AngularJS, React, AJAX, and other technologies to build customized solutions. Leading technical design sessions and writing technical design documents. Working directly with business stakeholders to define requirements and present solutions. Demonstrating technical leadership, setting best practices, including integration and application development, deployment, testing, and iterative refinement. Managing technical scope and client expectations. Designing and developing integrations between applications and other systems. Providing hands-on expert-level assistance to developers for technical issues. Overseeing the development and implementation of programs. Providing technical leadership and support to software development teams. Communicating system requirements to software development teams. Evaluating and selecting appropriate software or hardware and suggesting integration methods. Overseeing assigned programs (e.g., conduct code review) and guiding team members. What You'll Bring
Qualifications include: Strong working knowledge of Salesforce platform out-of-the-box functionality along with Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and SOQL. Ability to acquire new technical expertise quickly within the SFDC platform and related technologies. Solid understanding of developing mobile, hybrid, and/or native iOS/Android applications. Ability to follow Agile development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Experience with data migrations from third-party systems to Salesforce. Experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with third-party applications. Solid knowledge of key B2B, B2C, and hybrid business model levers. Excellent communication skills, analyzing abilities, and management skills. Ability to multi-task to address multiple and often conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem resolution, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Education & Experience
Requirements include: Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Minimum Required: 6+ years of experience administering or consulting with Salesforce. Minimum Required: 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce implementation in the Financial Service vertical and Investment Banking. Licenses & Credentials
Include: Certified Platform Developer I (PDI) or equivalent experience. Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) or equivalent experience. Systems & Technology
Experience with: JavaScript Libraries/Frameworks (Angular, jQuery). Salesforce Sales Cloud. Lightning. SOQL. SQL. Compensation Range
Salary: USD $151,300.00/Yr. - USD $215,000.00/Yr. Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate's qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel's overall compensation package for each individual employee.
