Get to Know Your Team: BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs and three private infusion rooms for families. Responsibilities
Responsible for administering high quality ionizing radiation therapy treatments to patients. Evaluates and assesses treatment delivery components while accurately positions the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated treatment volume delivering a prescribed course of radiation therapy for curative intent or to improve the quality of life. Maintains values aligning with professional code of ethical conduct and scope of practice while adhering to national, state, institutional/department practice standards and policies/procedures. Qualifications
Job Requirements: Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program ARRT certification in Radiological Therapy Texas- Medical Radiologic Technologist
General Certificate BLS Preferred Job Requirements: One year experience as a radiation therapist, but candidates finished with accredited training registered or registry are eligible.
