Senior Technician

Job Description Summary: It's a bunny suit kind of day, every day! We're looking for skilled and detail oriented Senior Technicians to support wafer processing and prototype assembly in our cleanroom. In this role, you'll work closely with engineers to move production wafers through various stages of development and troubleshooting. From setting up and running specialized equipment to analyzing results and sharing feedback, your contributions will directly impact advanced product development. Execute wafer fabrication processes including, but not limited to: Photolithography Electroplating Chemical analysis Metal deposition Oxidation Reactive-ion and deep reactive-ion etching Plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition Wet etching What You'll Be Doing: Support wafer processing in an R&D production environment, including daily movement of wafers through fabrication steps. Run and maintain dry etch tools, photolithography systems, deposition tools, and wet chemistry processes. Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot equipment issues, interpret results, and adjust processes. Assemble and test new or modified mechanical/electrical components and prototype subassemblies. Duties/Responsibilities: Performs cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision. Operates complex equipment in the production of hardware using complex manual skills with training and limited supervision. Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision. Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor. Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor. Skills/Abilities: Able to communicate written and verbally. Able to use Microsoft office applications. Able to perform manual labor and operate automated and semi-automated equipment. Education: Graduate from a 2 year technical school or applicable years of experience. Experience: Either two years of applicable technical education and two years of applicable experience or four years of applicable experience meets the minimum requirement. Additional Job Description: Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance, which requires proof of US citizenship.
