Supply Chain Planner located in Cottage Grove, MN and will working on projects for our new Locust Grove, GA facility which will open in the 2025/2026 timeframe. This position is hybrid and will be in the office approximately 3 days per week with 2 days at home. Summary: This position is responsible for designing and implementing the material and information flow processes within projects. Key focus is understanding the complete end-to-end supply chain system and being a key contributor on small to medium scale projects. Primary Responsibilities: Identifies unexpressed customer needs or customer problems and can identify potential solutions. Develops material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs. Leads cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions. Designs and procures material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on medium to large scale projects. Designs and implements an information flow system containing supply chain and IT deliverables to meet project objectives. Builds reciprocal working relationships with people across the organization and suppliers. Communicates new ideas, project status, and results to project team and leadership through organized presentations that promote dialogue and understanding. Develops new concepts and ideas that reduce overall costs across the supply chain. Qualifications and Skills: 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field. 1-5 years of experience in project leadership, supply chain, IT, operations or manufacturing/industrial engineering preferred. Knowledge and experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology. Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Experience with change management strategies. Project management skills.
