Under the direction of the Early Head Start (EHS) director this position provides financial management and analytical support to ensure adherence to established internal control structures for University, College, and Departmental policies and procedures; executes regular and ad hoc reporting processes to meet internal and external user's data needs. Works as management team member to provide high level of customer service to administration. Manages pre/post-award activities for EHS sponsored projects; notifies the principle investigator (PIs) of funding opportunities; participates in grant proposal & progress report preparation& submission; resolves problems related to employee and operational funding; interprets & ensures compliance with Sponsor, University, and third-party regulations in conjunction with the director of operations. Provides fiscal management of grants, reconciles projects and sends financial summaries to PI; monitors project budgets; manages personnel appointments on projects, works with Office of Sponsored Programs, PI, and third-parties on setting up projects, subcontracts, consultant agreements, carry-forward requests, and no-cost extensions. Ensures the continuity of fiscal management across the partner agencies and direct service providers through the provision of initial and ongoing training and technical assistance. Assists PI and EHS director with effort certifications and project close-outs. This position has a dotted reported line to the senior fiscal officer for the Schoenbaum Family Center. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. Attention to detail, excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Accounting experience is required. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with MS Suite. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and working with pivot tables. Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with grant funding. Pre & post grants management experience in a university setting. Desired Experience: At least 2 years in database administration. Prior experience with University eRequest, travel, and other financial systems. Additional Information:

The Target Hiring Range for this position is $58,700 - $77,200 Location:
