HomeWell Care Services Caregiver Position
At HomeWell Care Services, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care for seniors and others needing individualized support and companionship at home. With locations across the U.S., we offer many opportunities for compassionate individuals who enjoy improving the quality of life of those around them, with numerous positions for varying levels of expertise, such as companion caregivers, certified aides and case managers. We're looking for compassionate caregivers who want to make a difference in seniors' lives, one day at a time. As part of our team, you'll have the chance to form meaningful relationships with seniors who wish to age in place within the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
With kindness and care, your duties will include: Companionship and emotional support Light cooking and cleaning Assistance with bathing, grooming, and toileting Medication reminders and assistance with ambulation Transportation to appointments and errands Qualifications: CNA or HHA license preferred, or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for seniors or chronically ill individuals Excellent communication skills Reliable transportation (must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance if transporting clients) Proof of current TB testing Ability to perform the physical duties of the position Reliable, punctual, and caring nature Must pass a national criminal background check and any state-required screenings 1,000 hours of long-term care experience preferred but not required for new CNAs or Personal Care Aides (PCAs) Benefits: Competitive salary Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) Liability insurance and worker's compensation provided Flexible scheduling COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is not a requirement, though some clients may request vaccinated caregivers.
