Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for multi-axis lathes and mills (Mazak, Okuma, Haas, etc.) Collaborate with CNC Programmers to ensure efficient G-code generation using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) Design and validate custom tooling and fixturing for complex aerospace components Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and scrap Troubleshoot machining issues and provide hands-on shop floor support Interpret engineering drawings using GD&T and ensure manufacturability Partner with quality to resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions Participate in design reviews and provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing engineering role Hands-on experience with high-precision parts for aerospace/defense applications Proficient in CAM software and understanding of CNC programming logic Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining best practices Experience with lean manufacturing, process documentation, and root cause analysis What's On Offer
