Account Manager
Wieland is hiring an Account Manager. The Account Manager supports Wieland Recycling in purchases and processes a wide range of metals. To do this effectively, suppliers and customers must be met with high quality standards. The Account Manager carries out Wieland Recycling's growth strategies by focusing on expending new relationships and acquiring new ones through business development. The Account Manager focuses on providing service to industrial accounts, other recyclers, and foundries. This role is located in Granite City and will be fully on-site. While this role is local, travel to other locations will be required (25% travel including international travel). Base Salary Range: $66,551 to $99,826 per year. May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc. Responsibilities
Account Manager Responsibilities: Leverage interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders. Ensure purchase orders and goods receipts are accurate in a timely manner. Provide Commercial Managers with support to help them achieve Wieland's growth objectives. Communicate with suppliers and customer as needed to help expedite shipments in and outbound; resolve weight shortages or quality issues. Function as an in-house buyer, responsible for sourcing, evaluation, and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers. Match purchase requisitions/orders with invoices and forward to accounts payable for payment processing, as needed. Track status and follow up on all invoice inquires to ensure suppliers are paid timely. Qualifications
