Technician 1, Maintenance
The Technician 1, Maintenance is responsible for assisting installation, maintenance, and repair of process related systems/equipment. Ensure these systems meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Also responsible for conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on process related equipment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently with minimal downtime. Company Overview

What You'll Do Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment Assists senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation Follows standard operating procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices quality standards Adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe work practices Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety when unsafe conditions or hazards are found Attends all required safety and health training Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed Assists with spare parts assessments, as required Other duties, as assigned Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of mechanical systems Ability to work in a team environment Effective communication, both written and oral Knowledge of GMP requirements and programmable logic controllers and other process control systems Strong problem-solving and time management skills Willingness to learn new skills and processes Detail-oriented Required Skills High School Diploma/GED 2 years of maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing setting Preferred Skills Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Will work in environment which may necessitate respiratory protection. May work in Mechanical/Production spaces that may require hearing protection. Will work in environment operating a motor vehicle or Powered Industrial Truck. Ability to discern audible cues. Ability to inspect or perform a task with 20/20 corrected vision, visual acuity, including distinguishing color. Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include writs, hands and/or fingers. Ability to operate machinery and/or power tools. Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to 10 lbs. to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, push or pull, reach to retrieve materials from 18" to 60" in height, and use twisting motions.
