Phlebotomist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced phlebotomist to join our team in a doctor's office setting. The role involves drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing with precision and care. Responsibilities
Collect and receive biological specimens into the department. Enter specimen data accurately into the company's computer system. Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical area. Handle pre and post aspects of analytical testing responsibilities. Perform specified analytical testing as assigned. Adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct. Essential Skills
Proficient in blood draw and venipuncture techniques. Experience in specimen collection and laboratory operations. Knowledge of phlebotomy and specimen processing. Ability to provide patient care and ensure comfort during procedures. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. 2-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications
GED or High School Diploma is required. Must be comfortable working independently. Work Environment
The phlebotomist will work inside a doctor's office, drawing blood from patients and collaborating closely with medical assistants. This role is situated in a professional and wellness-focused environment. The position operates from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The facility is equipped to support efficient and effective specimen processing and patient care. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
