Job Title: Program Management Specialist/Manager
Santa Clara, CA
About the job:
FULL-TIME/PERMANENT
DEPARTMENT: Business Management
JOB FUNCTION:
The Program Specialist/Manager will be mainly responsible for program implementation of a customer's product through the contract manufacturing process under direct supervision of the Program Manager. You will also provide assistance for assigned projected planning, scheduling and oversight of hardware fabrication efforts, and ensure contractual deliveries are made on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
BS/BA/master degree in engineering, business, management or a relevant field. Knowledge in electronic manufacturing and supply chain a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 years in program management experience. Experience in electronics manufacturing industry is a plus.
LANGUAGE:
Proficiency in English required. Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred but not required.
SKILLS: Has academic functional skills needed to perform assigned tasks Computer literate Strong communication skills Project scheduling and time management Budget management of projects Critical thinking Task management - creating a task list, delegate work to others and keep progress Quality management - deliver a product that is fit for its purpose Strong demeanor - this position requires long hours and a determined attitude
RESPONSIBILITIES: Support RFQ/proposal process and follow up on submissions and execution. Coordinate with Supply Chain Management and Customer on Clear to Build Coordinate with Planner(s) on scheduling and priorities Oversee production and engineering schedule, output, and status Coordinate and facilitate issue/problem resolution between CFT and customer Provide timely responses to all customer inquiries, issues, and corrective actions Update and publish weekly reportsNPI action trackers, sustaining program long range fulfillment plan, hub inventory Facilitate NPI project transition to back end mass production base Oversee invoicing customer for goods and services provided. PO management for all POs for the account (FG, RMA, NRE, BPO)
