Job Description
The Salt Lake County Sports Office offers a variety of coed/men's/women's adult leagues and some youth sports leagues. Adult sports includes basketball, corporate games, pickleball, ski/snowboard, soccer, (slow-pitch/fast pitch) softball leagues and tournaments, ultimate frisbee and volleyball. Youth sports offered are super league basketball, softball tournaments, ski/snowboard, volleyball, and pickleball. Recreation - Youth Sports Youth Basketball Site Supervisor Youth Basketball Scorekeeper Ski & Snowboard Bus Supervisors (must be 21 and older) Recreation - Adult Sports Site Supervisor Scorekeepers Customer Service Team Front Desk Attendant Due to the nature of some of these positions, the selected applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements TEMPORARY POSITIONS: Must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month. Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy. Are not considered merit employees. Are "at will" employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
