Procurement Analyst
Procurement Analyst will provide analytical support for the Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management team at Atlantic Union Bank. The role will focus on analysis of supplier cost, invoicing, contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics, financial due diligence, industry research, and other analysis needed to support the strategic objectives of our business units. This individual will ensure that the team has the information needed to make sound supply chain decisions for the Bank. He or she will be responsible for conducting analysis on a wide-ranging group of activities. Position Accountabilities Providing the analytical horsepower for the Enhanced Supplier Management Program Regular reviews of supplier invoicing to ensure billing accuracy against contracted service delivery Tracking of supplier performance metrics relative to Service Level Agreements Data collection efforts and baseline building from unstructured data Assisting in analyzing supplier bids/proposals to determine total cost of ownership Performing industry research and analysis Developing and maintaining detailed spend analysis for existing suppliers Owning personal development to continually strengthen analytical skills Training others on analytical methodology Organizational Relationship The position reports to the Director of Supply Chain Management Position Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in math, finance, business, supply chain or equivalent military experience Minimum 5 years' equivalent job-related experience with emphasis on analytics 2 years' experience working in the financial services sector preferred Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Preferred: 7 years' equivalent job-related experience Knowledge & Skills Passion and relentless drive to problem-solve for the business Exceptional analytical skills Ability to synthesize unstructured data into logical groups PC proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (advanced skills), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI preferred Systematically use data analysis and statistical methods Experience with forecast planning Ability to interpret data Ability to present data in a concise/easy to consume manner Report generation skills Highest ethical standards to ensure appropriate business relationships Ability to effectively prioritize and execute work with little direction Ability to work in an innovative/fast-paced environment Communication skills that compel decision makers to act Appreciation and respect for diversity of thought, people and practices We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer, Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran.
