Construction Project Estimator
As a Construction Project Estimator with Servpro of Duncanville/DeSoto, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients! In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects. Key Responsibilities Meet with customers to inspect and photograph all damages. Develop/write an estimate to include all construction services required to restore the structure and ensure customer and client satisfaction. (ie ITEL, material reports, engineering reports) Document all communications and all follow up communications with customers and clients. Communicate with adjusters and clients when needed for project approvals/authorizations. Ensure estimate complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work. Ensure proper documentation of each project including photos. Assist Project Construction Manager when needed for scope or explanation of scope. Follow the claim from inspection to close for documentation and all communications. Position Requirements High school diploma/GED Previous construction experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability Effective written and oral communication Two years of Xactimate experience, including sketch (required) Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing) Ability to climb ladders for inspections and photos Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law Compensation: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
