A well-regarded regional healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join its growing Pain Management team. This outpatient-based role offers the chance to collaborate with an integrated network of specialists while delivering patient-centered care in a community setting.
Position Overview:Location: Primary site is in Potsdam, NY, with potential outreach to surrounding facilities
Care Setting: 100% outpatient
Schedule: Four 10-hour days per week (typically Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting physical exams and clinical observations
Recording comprehensive patient histories and symptoms
Creating and contributing to patient care plans
Ordering labs, imaging, medications, and diagnostic testing
Interpreting lab results and coordinating care with physicians and specialists
Ideal for an experienced APP with an interest in chronic pain management, musculoskeletal conditions, or integrative treatment modalities.
Compensation & Benefits:Base Salary Range: $122,500 $153,500, based on experience and qualifications
Signing Bonus: $5,000
Relocation Assistance: $7,500
Licensing & Dues: Up to $1,000
Continuing Education: $2,000 annually

This pain management service focuses on a holistic, team-based approach to care. Each patient receives an individualized evaluation that may include medical, neurological, and musculoskeletal assessments, diagnostic imaging, nerve conduction studies, and evaluations for inflammatory conditions. Providers work closely with specialists in rehabilitation, oncology, rheumatology, and behavioral health to develop evidence-based treatment plans that prioritize function and quality of life.
Conditions commonly treated include chronic back or joint pain, neuropathic disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, and pain related to systemic illness.
