Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Macomb, MI

Assignment Dates: ASAP - Ongoing

Coverage Need
- 4 days per week
- 10-hour shifts
- No call

Position Details
- Practice setting includes operating room and clinic
- Focus on adult patients
- Trauma Level II facility
- APP will work autonomously
- Epic EMR
- Average patient volume varies
- Provider must be highly experienced in robotic lung resections and foregut surgery
- Must be confident assisting at bedside, docking the robot, and pre-op testing
- Thoracic OR experience required; Cardiac first assist experience may be considered

Submissions Requirements
- Active MI state license
- Board Certified PA (NCCPA)
- Clean malpractice and disciplinary history
- BLS and ACLS required

Skill Requirements
- Thoracic OR or cardiac first assist experience required
- Experience with robotic-assisted procedures
- Ability to work independently in high-acuity surgical cases
- Robotic experience highly preferred
