Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery in NY
Current NY State certification and registration as a NP or PA
Full-Time Position
Job Summary:
Under physician supervision, the NP/PA will provide a wide range of neurosurgical care, including:
Taking medical history
Performing physical exams
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
Prescribing medications
Assisting in surgical procedures in the hybrid OR suite
Monitoring treatment and progress
Counseling and educating patients
Collaborating closely with physicians to deliver high-quality care
Requirements:
Current NY State certification and registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to remain calm and lead in emergency situations
Familiarity with current trends and technologies in clinical practice
Strong focus on patient safety and infection control
Knowledge of health promotion, risk identification, and patient education techniques
Pay Range: $100,000 $130,000 (based on experience)
