NP - Anesthesiology job in Detroit MI

Locums CRNA Surgical Center St. Clair Shores & Macomb, MI

Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 3-month initial term, option to extend
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7a-3p
- EMR: Cerner

Clinical Details
- Surgical center setting
- 3 ORs at primary site, 5 ORs at secondary
- Avg 7-20 surgical cases/day and up to 10 pain cases/day
- Patient age range: pediatrics to geriatrics (no neonates)
- OR team includes CRNA, MDA, surgeon, RN, scrub tech, and sometimes first assist or resident

Requirements
- Board certified CRNA
- Active MI license
- ACLS and BLS (AHA required)
- Clean history
- Must be willing to perform pediatric cases

Skills Needed
- General anesthesia and IV sedation
- Pediatric and adult general surgery
- ENT, orthopedics, podiatry, plastic, and robotic cases
