Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: Great Falls, Montana
Position Type: Full-Time Hospital Employed
Position Overview:
A progressive, provider-led healthcare system in Great Falls, Montana is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing inpatient care team. This is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity with a 7 on / 7 off daytime schedule and a patient-centered team culture. You ll enjoy a supportive environment with access to cutting-edge diagnostics and a collaborative network of medical and surgical specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage hospitalized adult patients in a 36-bed acute care facility
Collaborate with a team of experienced Hospitalists and specialists
Perform admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
Utilize telemedicine critical care support and in-house specialists
Engage in procedures (preferred but not required)
Maintain clinical documentation and quality of care standards
Schedule:
Full-time, 7 on / 7 off
Day shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Dedicated nocturnist coverage in place
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 3 years of direct hospitalist experience required
Current NP or PA licensure and national certification
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Comfort with common hospitalist procedures preferred
BLS/ACLS certification required
