We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a short-term locum tenens opportunity in Florida. This critical role begins on Jan 1, 2026, and consists of a 4-day assignment, involving a day shift from 7 AM to 4 PM plus 24-hour weeknight call. The position focuses on complex procedures at a trauma center, including aortic valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, and CABGs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform aortic valve replacements
  • Conduct aneurysm repairs and replacements
  • Execute CABG procedures
  • Manage perioperative care in a high-acuity setting
  • Participate in on-call duties as required


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Prior vascular experience preferred
  • Must be licensed in FL
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system
