Cancer Care Center is looking for a locum Hospitalist Oncology to fill their need!
DETAILS:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient rounding, admitting, consulting
- Start month (with credentialing): October 2025
- Shift hours: 8 am 5 pm
- Low chance of call shifts
- Patient Population for Required Coverage: Inpatient Oncology unit both oncology and hematology patients
- Support staff - Do APPs Provide Coverage: No, although outpatient Oncologists available for any support or questions.
- Inpatient coverage
- Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers: No
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Locum treating both Oncology and hematology patients and administering medication.
- 90-day credentialing timeframe

- MD diploma
- Internship/residency/fellowship certs
- All medical licenses
- DEA
- Board Certification
- Life support cards- BLS
- Current and previous certificates of insurance
- Driver s license
- Professional color photo/headshot
- CMEs for the past 2 years
- Immunization records including TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID
- References
- Case logs
- Board Certified Medical Oncology OR Medical Oncology/Hematology - REQUIRED (can no longer consider IM with experience)
- ID license in hand - REQUIRED
- CSR, DEA, BLS- REQUIRED
- Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
- Clean background/malpractice - REQUIRED
- Local, no flights - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Must have COVID vaccine in order to work at this facility - REQUIRED
- BLS
- Board Certified
- Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS)
