Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION: Hospital in the Myrtle Beach area is seeking a skilled CT PA with EVH experience to join another in assisting their 3 cardiothoracic surgeons. Competitive compensation along with comprehensive, flexible health and benefits package offered. Qualified Candidates:

• 2 or more years' experience with all routine heart surgery procedures and thoracic procedures
• Possess understanding of clinic follow ups and post op outpatient care
• Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus
• Experience in EVH and 1st assist in surgery required
• APP will be responsible for daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively as well as conducting follow-up assessments in the clinic
• Expected call schedule of 1:3

• ACS verified Level I adult trauma center
• DHEC approved Level II pediatric trauma center
• 4 emergency departments
• DNV-GL certified comprehensive stroke center
• Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI
• Inpatient and outpatient behavioral health unit
• Inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Maternity center with Level II neonatal nursery and maternal fetal medicine for high-risk moms
