This facility is an ASC verified Level III Trauma Center providing comprehensive orthopedic services to the community. The hospital features a completely digital radiology department, efficient and flexible OR with block time assignments, and full surgical staff including Orthopedic PAs to support patient care.

Job Details:
• Provide on-call coverage for Emergency Department consultations in a Level III Trauma Facility • Must have expertise in Total Joint replacements and general orthopedics • Handle various orthopedic cases including fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopedic procedures • Perform total joint replacements (hip, knee, and other joints) • Conduct joint revision or repair procedures for shoulder, hip, knee • Experience with arthroscopy required • No spine procedures required • Tendon release/repair procedures preferred • Must have active MI License, MI CDS, and MI DEA • US Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery required • Call shifts are 24-hour coverage (7am-7am) • Orientation required on first day of assignment • Facility lodging preferred if available • Typically handles "bread and butter" cases; sick or complicated patients are transferred • 30-day estimated credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
