- Other Details: A board-certified anesthesiologist with an active Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted), DEA, BLS, and ACLS is needed for a two-week assignment from June 30 July 3 and July 7 11, with the option to extend. The position involves working Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with no call or weekend shifts. Orientation hours are billable. The provider will float between multiple facilities, including a high-volume trauma center and several smaller hospitals with lower case volumes. Daily caseloads vary, with the busiest site averaging 40 cases per day supported by a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs. Patient population is primarily adult and geriatric. Required skills include general anesthesia for ENT, GYN, OB (at select locations), plastics, endoscopy, urology, orthopedics, vascular, neuro, and thoracic cases. No head, heart, or OB cases are performed outside of the trauma center. The EMR used is Cerner, and candidates must have a minimum of two years experience.
