Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Technologist (MT) / Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) / Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Qualifications:

• Degrees: Associates
• Licenses & Certifications: Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Medical Technology or a related science, or an equivalent education as mandated by the State of Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Hold a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Temporary Clinical Laboratory License in the relevant discipline(s).
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of laboratory medical technology theory and practices.
  • BLS certification may be required in certain entities such as Urgent Cares.
