AECOM is seeking to hire a Project Manager - Highway/Roadway to support our exciting project in San Jose, CA.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
- Deliver revenues from specific clients through flawless project execution.
- Achieve planned profit margins consistently.
- Complete projects without write-downs or erosion of multipliers.
- Manage projects involving Risk Triggering Factors (RTF).
- Handle more complex clients and projects.
- Make decisions and guide other Project Managers in risk recognition and mitigation.
- Direct staff to operate efficiently and minimize claims exposure.
- Supervise and direct Project Managers overseeing multiple projects or programs.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS degree + 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience/education.
Preferred Requirements
- Professional Engineer license with ability to obtain California PE within 12 months if not already licensed in California.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
- Experience in business development and client relations.
- Project management experience with small to medium highway projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
