We are seeking a skilled engineer to join a fast-paced analytics engineering team focused on delivering large-scale analytical tooling to support business-critical operations across a global organization. This role blends software engineering, DevOps, and distributed systems expertise to design and maintain highly available data platforms used for real-time and historical analysis across trading and research environments.

Success in this position will require a strong engineering mindset, attention to operational excellence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deeply understand analytical needs and translate them into scalable platform solutions
Build, deploy, and optimize distributed data services and real-time streaming systems to support varied use cases across the organization
Own the engineering lifecycle of analytics systems from prototype to production — ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance both on-premise and in cloud environments
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, infrastructure automation, and system observability

Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of hands-on experience programming in Python, with a deep understanding of object-oriented, functional, and asynchronous patterns
3+ years working with containerized applications, with strong familiarity in environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end software development and deployment pipelines in a CI/CD-driven DevOps culture
Practical experience designing and managing cloud-native infrastructure using providers like AWS or GCP; familiarity with Terraform or OpenTofu is a significant plus
Solid knowledge of data architecture concepts and practical experience with various data storage systems (SQL, NoSQL, key-value stores)
Exposure to distributed file formats and data frameworks such as Parquet, Iceberg, Apache Arrow, and Hadoop ecosystems
Experience with distributed compute engines such as Spark, Ray, Dask, or Slurm
Familiarity with event-driven and stream-processing technologies including Kafka, Flink, and Apache Beam
Interest or experience in machine learning platforms and vectorized computation frameworks such as TensorFlow or XGBoost is advantageous
