YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Engineering Team Lead is responsible for providing technical oversight and managing the design team for engineering projects. This role involves financial, resource, logistical, and technical leadership, as well as mentoring staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Specialize in Medium Voltage customer substation design
  • Interface with Bay Area Utilities, including utility requirements, interconnect agreements, and service requests
  • Develop designs based on project requirements
  • Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources
  • Manage Engineers, Designers, and Modeling staff
  • Communicate with Project Managers and Executives regarding project efforts and deliverables
  • Lead the Engineering CAC effort and coordinate with project PM
  • Resolve complex design problems
  • Coordinate with city, state, and county officials and regulatory agencies
  • Participate in project design meetings
  • Conduct site visits for installation review and assessment
  • Perform Value Engineering studies
  • Act as Engineer of Record for assigned projects

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the US
  • BESS experience
  • Field experience strongly recommended

TRAVEL:

  • Up to 25% (excluding local field visits)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Indoor work with environmental variations, occasional physical activity, and compliance with ADA and laws
