Base Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Job Description: Audit Senior Manager (Construction Industry)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager with a strong background in the construction industry . This role leads multiple audit engagements, provides technical leadership, and builds trusted client relationships while ensuring high-quality assurance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee audit engagements for construction and real estate clients, ensuring compliance with professional and industry standards.
• Develop tailored audit strategies addressing construction-specific risks and operational structures.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit staff, providing technical guidance and feedback.
• Manage audit planning, execution, budgeting, and reporting, including internal controls over contracts and project management.
• Stay current with GAAP/IFRS, industry regulations, and emerging trends.
• Foster strong client relationships, identify value-add opportunities, and support business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Certification

CPA required

Experience

8+ years in audit, with a focus on construction; 5+ years supervising teams

Technical Skills

GAAP/IFRS expertise, construction accounting, and internal controls

Industry Knowledge

Strong understanding of contracts, project accounting, and compliance

Excellent interpersonal, written, and leadership skills

Business Development

Client relationship management and proposal participation

Preferred: Experience with construction project management systems, multitasking in deadline-driven environments, and advanced problem-solving skills.

Hybrid or on-site as client needs dictate; occasional travel for client site visits.
