nThe Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities
nGreet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
nHandle all front desk related activities including:
nAnswer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
nCheck members into the system.
nNew member sign-up.
nTake prospective members on tours.
nFacilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
nRespond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
nAssist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
nQualifications/Requirements
nCustomer service background preferred.
nBasic computer proficiency.
nA passion for fitness and health.
nUpbeat and positive attitude!
nPunctuality and reliability is a must.
nExceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
nStrong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
nDemonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
nHigh School diploma/GED equivalent required.
nMust be 16 years of age or older.
nPhysical Demands
nContinual standing and walking during shift.
nContinual talking with members and management in person or on the phone during shift.
nMust be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
nWill occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift. (training and protective equipment are provided to ensure safety)
