Job Descriptionn
Performs and leads a variety of very complex engineering duties to design, plan, and oversee the design and development of electric/electronic devices and systems applied to new or existing products . Evaluates progress and results of projects. Recommends changes in design, procedures or objectives as necessary.
nnJob Responsibilities

- Designs and troubleshoots electrical/electronic assemblies and systems n
- Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties n
- Adheres to new product development processes as it relates to Concept Analysis, Business Case, product development, pre-production and post-launch steps n
- Recommends methods of manufacturing during the design of new products, design modifications or process changes based on cost/design studies n
- Partners with other departments to help drive business decisions n
- Recommends changes in design, procedures or objectives as necessary. n
- Develops engineering test standards n
- Acts as a liaison between other departments as necessary n
- May perform full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget n
- Performs other duties as assigned n
Job Skills Requirements

- Excellent knowledge and use of electrical/electronic control circuits and systems n
- Excellent understanding of electrical/electronic components and their uses in various power systems n
- Excellent knowledge of appropriate standards and regulations n
- Excellent knowledge of of applicable technologies and/or products n
- Excellent communication skills to explain designs and logic used n
- Ability to lead a team n
- Fluent in English and primary used in area of responsibility and/or location n
Education
nBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field
nnExperience Requirements

- Seven years of professional engineering experience n
