Key Responsibilities

  • Review and complete all paperwork associated with Conversion processes.
  • Communicate production needs with operators and material handlers.
  • Conduct regular checks and initial all check sheets at the beginning and throughout shifts.
  • Report production, safety, and personnel concerns to the supervisor.
  • Assist operators with machine issues and setups as needed.
  • Be adaptable by stepping into any Conversion position on the floor as required.
  • Understand the production schedule and document end-of-shift paperwork, including production and scrap reports.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding job changes.
  • Knowledge of cure times is essential.
  • Ensure operators have all necessary materials for their tasks.
  • Adhere strictly to safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to satisfy customer needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • May take on additional duties as assigned throughout the plant.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing correspondence and presenting information to groups.
  • Ability to apply common sense in following detailed instructions and problem-solving in standardized situations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing plant setting, skilled in using computers, forklifts, hand tools, and safety equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive, sound judgment in decision-making with the ability to identify and develop solutions to challenges.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
