nBoeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Minuteman Propulsion Systems Engineer to join the Strategic Deterrence Systems Team located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
nThe team provides engineering services to maintain the ICBM Minuteman propulsion subsystem. The subsystem includes flight controls, batteries, raceway cables, and associated test equipment. The selected candidate will work with a highly skilled and knowledgeable team in a great team environment. The candidate will be mentored in areas of responsibility.
nPrimary Responsibilities:

Systems requirements analysis and development including the ability to develop and document mechanical, electronic/electrical, and other system requirements

Application of Model-Based Engineering/Model-Based Systems Engineering using tools such as DOORS and CAMEO
n n - n
Test planning, assessment, and reporting (testing includes Aging Surveillance, flight test, failure investigations, etc.)
n n - n
Failure analysis of flight hardware and associated test equipment
n n - n
Ability to generate briefings and present briefings to internal and external customers
n n - n
Technical writing skills to include generating plans, procedures, memorandums, reports, technical orders, drawings, etc.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

3+ years of experience in an engineering discipline

Experience working both independently and in team environments

Experience applying engineering processes and principles

Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation

Experience modeling and simulation
