Responsibilities for a Painter Helper include but are not limited to:

n
Assist in preparing materials for painting, including sandblasting, grinding, and buffing using appropriate tools and equipment.

Help in the safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts to maneuver materials in and out of the paint booth.
n
n
Support the operation, cleaning, and maintenance of paint equipment and the paint booth.
n
n
Assist in mixing and applying paint and related coatings to steel equipment under supervision.
n
n
Help maintain accurate production records, tracking the usage of paint and solvents.
n
n
Assist in the proper disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with safety and EPA regulations.
n

Candidates for Painter Helper must meet the following requirements to be considered:

n
High School Diploma or GED.
n
n
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
n
n
Familiarity with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators.
n
n
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
n
n
Basic understanding of MIL-Spec paint standards and application techniques.
n
n
Basic knowledge of spray equipment maintenance and repair is advantageous
n

Pay: $16.50 - $ 17.50 per hour

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. , with mandatory overtime on Fridays.

Pay Details: $16.50 to $17.50 per hour
