Server Job Summary:
As the primary point of contact for guest interactions in the dining room, the Server
is responsible for selling & serving food & beverages using their knowledge, hospitality and
service skills. Must be pleasant, conscientious and professional with excellent knowledge of
food & alcoholic beverage selections. Must be comfortable suggesting food & wine pairings,
craft beers, and aperitifs and familiar with local beverage products. Must be able to operate
effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, ensure smooth service operations and
provide consistent, pleasant, quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests promptly and professionally.
- Guide guests through their dining experience with knowledge and hospitality focus
- Take and submit food and beverage orders through a point of sale system.
- Communicate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and beverages accurately and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with service staff to clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Prepare checks, process payments, and ensure timely return of change or charge slips.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining area and other restaurant tasks as needed.
- Participate in Pre-Shift meetings and stay informed about menu items.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of previous restaurant experience required; fine-dining experience preferred.
- Maintain a BASSET and ServSafe Food Handlers Certification.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation and handling.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Point of Sale systems.
- Must be able to work Weekends, Evenings and Holidays
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
