As a
Sr. Production Coordinator,
is responsible for supporting day-to-day Softgel manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, supplies, and equipment are prepared and available to meet production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. The Sr. Production Coordinator also helps train operators, supports Lean improvement efforts, assists with writing SOPs, and takes on some supervisory duties when needed. This position requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work closely with multiple teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to: Leads and supports special projects as assigned by the Softgel Production Manager, ensuring timely execution and alignment with departmental goals. Assumes limited supervisory responsibilities as needed, providing leadership and floor support in alignment with Softgel Leadership directives. Provides Lean Manufacturing support. Support Supervisors in developing and writing departmental SOP's and Manufacturing Improvement. Enter, track and follow up on maintenance work-orders Manages the ordering and inventory of production supplies as required by the Production Manager Track and report on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Supports Supervisors coordinating product flow between all softgel manufacturing departments. Assist Supervisor in training and developing all operators in technical skills, process improvements and daily work behaviors. Daily review frozen softgel production schedule and or schedule changes with the production staff. Assists in enforcing the daily/weekly schedule attainment. Reviews issued jobs, flag shortages and possible delays and take immediate corrective action to prevent downtime. Confirms with kitting, materials are released and issued correctly, on time. Assists with investigations of material variances, inventory issues. Assists production staff with preventing problems with possible solutions and strategies. Performs various training, including but not limited to safety, Standard operating procedures (SOPs), process, material flow and documentation. Assists with die roll inventory by updating usage and capacity. Follows established department SOP's, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions. Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner. Perform other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate; plus Three to five (3-5) or more years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment; or Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job. Proficient skills in reading, writing, and speaking in English. Excellent written and oral communications skills & techniques. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. Work Environment:

This position is currently classified as on-site.
Base Salary Range: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.
The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
