Summary Job Summary: The CEO, Digital Studio Ventures will lead the launch and growth of innovative digital health ventures incubated within the studio. This role requires a visionary leader who can translate healthcare provider challenges into scalable digital solutions, recruit and inspire top talent, and drive commercialization and strategic partnerships. This position will be largely externally focused with the intent to bring novel digital applications to cancer centers globally. In this role, the CEO will also be responsible for maintaining a strong relation with the parent institute and will be directly reporting from an operational day-to-day basis to the EVP and Chief Business Office of the Institute. Strategic Leadership Define and execute the vision, mission, and strategic direction for the venture studio and each incubated company, in collaboration with the CBO office, the board and the studio partners. Venture Ideation & Development Oversee the identification, sourcing, and selection of new business concepts that address critical healthcare provider needs, ensuring ventures have large, addressable markets. Team Building Recruit, lead, and mentor high-performing cross-functional teams, including product, technology, clinical, and operations, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Secure funding through venture capital, grants, and strategic partnerships. Manage financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for both the studio and its portfolio companies. Drive the development and execution of product roadmaps, ensuring clinical and regulatory compliance, and lead commercialization efforts for each venture. Partnership & Ecosystem Development Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers, payers, technology partners, and industry stakeholders to accelerate growth and market adoption. External Representation Serve as the primary spokesperson for the studio and its ventures, representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and media opportunities. Operational Excellence Oversee all aspects of studio and venture operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices. Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field. Experience/Skills/Specialized Training: Minimum Experience Required: Proven track record as a founder, CEO, or senior executive in digital health, healthcare technology, or venture development. Deep understanding of the healthcare provider landscape and digital transformation opportunities. Demonstrated success in raising capital, building high-impact teams, and launching scalable digital products. Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
