Job Summary We are seeking a positive, friendly Front Desk Staff to provide exceptional service to our clients. The Front Desk staff will assist patients with the check-in and check-out processes, and process payments. Responsibilities also include maintaining communication with providers, answering Patient inquiries, and completing paperwork promptly and accurately. The Front Desk Staff must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to stay positive even when faced with challenging situations. Your goal is to provide Patients with an exceptional customer service experience.
Responsibilities▪ Daily practice operations such as patient registration, greet patients and visitors, check in patients, verify insurance ▪ Collect Co-pay ▪ Assist with rooming patients, check Vital signs, collect history from patients and document in EMR ▪ General office administration and reception cover ▪ Ensure all records required are completed in an accurate and timely manner (including patient records) ▪ Follows all policies and procedures include but not limited to human resources, clinic, administrative, HIPAA and compliance ▪ Confirm appointments of initial patients 1-2 days prior to appointment date and enter insurance information and enter patient demographics into the Electronic Medical Record ▪ Run insurance eligibility on a daily basis for patients and make calls to patient as needed. ▪ Determine fees and process appropriate copayments, and properly record information ▪ Maintain appropriate levels of cash and balance cash according to procedure ▪ Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. ▪ Communicate with supervisor on a daily basis about day-to-day operations.
