Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Business Systems Analyst for an 8-month contract, focusing on a critical Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Inventory project in Sunnyvale, CA. The role requires deep expertise in SAP FICO, particularly in inventory valuation, costing, and reconciliation, aiming to enhance inventory visibility and financial accuracy across systems. The candidate will bridge SAP data with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and planning systems, directly impacting our inventory and financial management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Join as a vital member of the SAP project implementation team. Analyze and extract crucial inventory quantity and cost data from SAP, specifically MM and FICO modules. Ensure consistency and accuracy by reconciling inventory data between SAP and EDW. Collaborate effectively with Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and IT teams to refine E&O logic and reporting. Play a key role in developing test cases, functional specifications, and supporting workshops, testing, and validation activities.
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience as an SAP FICO Business Analyst or Consultant. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP inventory accounting, material valuation, and the MM, FI, and CO modules. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Industry Experience Required: Prior experience in inventory analysis, particularly related to E&O or supply chain finance, is highly preferred. This position is onsite and requires the candidate's current location to be mentioned on the resume.
