GCP Technical Architect

Job Description –

Minimum of 10 years' experience in advanced technologies including a minimum of 5+ years as a technical architect

Working experience in migration projects from MDM to GCP.

Experienced in architecting projects involving IBM MDM Infosphere, Oracle SQL, Informatica ETL suite – PowerCenter, IICS, BDM

Ability to drive solutions involving Java/Python/PySpark, MS Visual Studio Code / Node.js, Airflow, AlloyDB, SOAPUI/POSTMAN, JIRA

Minimum 7 years' experience in development including a minimum of 3+ years leading development resources

Solid experience architecting and design business solutions with enterprise scale technologies (Web Application, Database, Container Computing Platform, and Access Management, API Management, Infrastructure, Networks, Web & Integration software)

Solid experience of software development life cycle process and methodologies

Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities

Ability to inform, educate and influence managers and employees to support goals and initiatives

Good written, verbal and presentation skills are necessary to effectively convey goals and initiatives to team and management

Strong Automotive OEM experience

Primary responsibilities:

Work with the project delivery lead and quality assurance lead, provide technical leadership to ensure projects can be delivered timely, on budget and meet business & system requirements.

Analyze business requirements, conduct alternative analysis as needed, define and model solution architecture, estimate the recommended solution and represent it to the Architecture Review Board (e.g. logical & physical architectures, data classifications/protections, Integrate comprehensive security principles into all phases of design and architecture, solution cost estimation and alternative justification etc.) for review and approval.

Lead detailed design, solution development and deployment (apply proper architecture and design patterns adhere to VWGoA architecture and design principles, document technical design, code review for quality and security, coach and mentor technical teams, bug fix remediation and performance tuning)

Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Education Requirements:



Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline). Master's degree in technical discipline .
