About the Role
As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring smooth operational efficiency. Your focus will be on executing fast and efficient transactions and creating a welcoming shopping experience for all customers.
What You'll Do
Greet customers warmly, assist them with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle various payment methods.
Provide courteous, friendly, and prompt service by meeting company standards for point of sale and customer service.
Achieve set individual goals, including credit and loyalty program sign-ups.
Help maintain inventory accuracy through diligent handling of merchandise and point of sale practices.
Assist in training new team members by sharing best practices and adherence to company standards.
Participate in essential daily operations like cash balancing and replenishing supplies.

What Skills You Have
Required:
Strong customer service skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
No prior retail experience needed.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
Experience in customer-facing roles in retail or service industries.
Essential Functions
Satisfactorily complete all training programs provided by the company.
Adhere to dress code policies.
Demonstrate basic math and reading skills and proficiency in basic computer operations.
Be able to communicate via various devices and handle technology as instructed.
Maintain a reliable attendance record and meet scheduling requirements.
Perform duties as outlined in the Physical Requirements section.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift over 50 lbs. with assistance.
Engage in physical activities such as climbing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
Stand or walk for the duration of your scheduled work hours.
Visually verify information and inspect merchandise effectively.
