A-Line Staffing is Hiring Quality Control Inspector in Sumter, SC!
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Quality Control Inspector I
to join our team in Sumter, SC. This role is essential in ensuring our products meet quality and regulatory standards through efficient testing, inspection, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting engineering drawings and working with precision measuring instruments in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Quality Control Inspector Compensation
· The pay for this position is $16.50/hr
· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Quality Control Inspector Highlights
The required availability for this position 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3-2-2-3 rotation) Initial training on day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) for 4–6 weeks, also on a 3-2-2-3 rotation
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities
· Perform efficient and effective quality testing in alignment with established SOPs, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
· Inspect products and analyze results to determine acceptance or identify nonconformance.
· Identify basic compliance issues and report non-conformities appropriately.
· Use calibrated measuring tools such as calipers, optic micrometers, pin gauges, and gage blocks.
· Interpret engineering drawings and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances.
· Adhere to all quality control processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
· Maintain required licenses, certifications, and training for the role.
· Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated per maintenance protocols
Quality Control Inspector Requirements:
· 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality control.
· Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
· Proficient in using standard measurement tools and precision equipment.
· Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing or industrial environment .
· Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in Quality or Manufacturing a plus.
