Turner Staffing Group is actively recruiting a
Drill Services Administrator
on behalf of our mining industry client. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support drilling operations through accurate cost tracking, invoice reconciliation, and contract compliance. Important: Local candidates only.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
About the Role The onsite, project-based (3-6 months)
Drill Services Administrator
plays a critical role in managing financial and operational data for the drilling team. This includes maintaining relationships with field personnel, ensuring contract compliance, and supporting accurate and timely reporting. You'll collaborate closely with site supervisors, geologists, and supply chain to ensure the smooth administration of drilling activities. Key Responsibilities Collaborate daily with mine site-based Drilling Supervisors and Contractors
Reconcile drilling operations and related financial data
Track contract employees and drilling consumables by site
Monitor compliance with drilling contracts and cost agreements
Prepare purchase requisitions, track AFEs, and manage invoice reconciliation in SAP
Create reports and visual presentations for training and performance analysis
Support the development and document control of SOPs
Assist with monthly reporting, accruals, and forecasting for project managers
Maintain audit-ready documentation and follow SOX and accounting compliance
Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial entries
Perform additional administrative and financial duties as assigned
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Professional, detail-oriented, and dependable work ethic
Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Prior experience in administrative, financial, or contract management roles (2–4 years)
Experience in data analysis and reporting (1–2 years)
Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with SAP or willingness to learn
Previous exposure to mining or drilling operations
Knowledge of drill operations (rotary, core, muds, etc.)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse team environment
