Survey Technician . In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in processing daily field data from our survey teams and will work closely with Project Surveyors, field teams, Engineers, and Project Managers on a variety of projects. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with a respected and skilled team within a dynamic organization. What You'll Do: Prepare diverse survey documents including subdivision plats, exhibits, and boundary surveys using Civil 3D software. Conduct detailed survey research to ensure project precision and thoroughness. Utilize Trimble Business Center software to reduce survey data effectively. Import and export field survey data for project work using Civil 3D software. Create topographic survey maps showcasing existing property elements and ground models with Civil 3D. Perform essential office calculations and provide support to field survey crews for construction staking and property monumentation. Draft legal descriptions of real property accurately. Who You Are: Associate's or Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying or a related field. 2-5 years of hands-on surveying experience in transportation, utility, residential development, and commercial site projects. Comprehensive knowledge of all land surveying phases and map preparation. Familiarity with Oregon/Washington land surveying laws and regulations, including specific county requirements. Proficient in AutoCAD software. Experience with Trimble equipment, including total stations, GNSS receivers, and TSC3 data collectors. Working knowledge of Trimble Access and Trimble Business Center software. Nice to Have: Land Survey Intern (LSI) certification. Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
