NorthHill Technology Resources has openings for Site Reliability Engineerx to support a Federal Program at LangleyAir Force Base in Hampton, Virginia.
This is a direct-hire role with our client, a growing Federal Integrator.
It is a hybrid role, onsite 2 days per week. Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required, an active DOD Secret Clearance is highly preferred.
seeks a Site Reliability Engineer in Langley, VA, focused on ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of multi-tenant, microservices-based applications critical to national security missions. You will collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to optimize Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, Elastic), proactively responding to incidents, automating recovery processes, and enhancing system resilience. Qualified candidates have 6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering roles; proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, Java, Bash); and expertise with Kubernetes, microservices architectures, observability tools, and incident management. Candidates must hold or obtain SEC+ certification within six months, be willing to perform shift work for 24/7/365 coverage, and reside within 45 minutes of an IL6 facility. Experience with AWS cloud platforms, databases (PostgreSQL), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and advanced degrees are strongly preferred.
